Relocation and Expansion of Law Offices – Summit, New Jersey
Challenge: A corporate law firm required help defining the details of their lease as they were considering a relocation to Springfield, NJ, from their existing offices in Millburn.
J2 Success: As the lease negotiations progressed, J2 Collaborative Architecture + Design conducted a site visit to and analysis of the Springfield property floor plan, identifying factors that would be undesirable if the firm was to commit to the space. We conducted subsequent site visits of other properties that ultimately yielded a more beneficial location. We assisted in determining the optimal placements for the reception area, partner and associate offices, support staff, conference rooms, filing areas and kitchen and presented furniture, fixture and finish selections, allowing opportunities for staff to customize their individual spaces. Completing the relocation project, we helped them re-brand with a new logo and signage.
